Boss 125 multi seal building/construction sealant is a multipurpose, one part sealant, formulated from a hybrid polymer. This unique sealant is free from solvents, silicone, isocyanates and other hazardous raw materials. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a highly durable flexible sealant. Multi seal has been formulated to offer outstanding primerless adhesion to most common building materials including vinyl, aluminum, steel, concrete, wood and glass. It can be applied and tooled under most weather conditions. This sealant is paintable with most latex base paints.

These thread sealants are a variation of our basic RectorSeal No. 5 formulation modified for specific applications where low odor, non-staining, and soft set features are desired. RectorSeal No. 5 Special is especially formulated for use around gas detection equipment. RectorSeal No. 5 Sub-Zero is especially formulated for low temperature applications and is brushable to -35 deg F. They are listed under the uniform plumbing code (IAPMO) file no. 1282. In addition, they are approved and listed with the Canadian standards association (CSA).

RectorSeal No. 5 pipe thread sealant is a soft-set, slow drying compound which seals, lubricates and protects threaded pipe and fittings. It can be pressurized immediately for piping up through 2" and 100 psi (for natural gas, air and water only) and is ideal for application with a wide variety of fluids and gases, including potable water applications. Recommended for use on threaded Galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass reinforced and PVC pipe. Not recommended for use with ABS, CPVC pipe or oxygen, chlorine and other oxidizers.

RectorSeal No. 5 is our most popular thread sealant. It has withstood the test of time in a variety of uses and is widely known as the standard of the industry. RectorSeal No. 5 is a soft setting, slow drying thread sealant made from special inert fillers dispersed in an oleoresinous base to facilitate its application to threaded pipe connections. RectorSeal No. 5 is a unique, versatile and reliable sealant that is non toxic in accordance with NSF Standard 61-G and 372.
