It consists of a pre-charged air chamber that is rechargeable, an air-tight sealing cap, standard tire valve connection for easy charging, stainless steel top, sealed-in diaphragm, lower stainless steel chamber, and brass hex adapter for easy installation. Series 174A resists corrosive water conditions, sticking and freezing, and prevents water and sediment from being trapped in the seat. It is designed for emergency safety relief and shall not be used as an operating control.
