The dual control models combine the boiler feed with an in-line pressure relief valve. The built-in check prevents emptying the system if incoming pressure falls. They feature fast fill rates and an exclusive, lockable fast fill lever. It also provides make-up water to the system in the event of system leaks. It consists of an iron and bronze body construction with NPT threaded inlet and outlet connections, an attached iron body, diaphragm relief valve, a tight seating check valve, purge lever for manual purging, and a stainless steel strainer. Series 1450F has high capacity performance and simplified servicing design. It is suitable for use in the boiler feed lines of hydronic heating systems.
