Nu-Calgon 4300-09 RX11-flush is a unique solvent that has been engineered for flushing refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Its patented HFC based solvent formulation is powerful enough to flush away sludge, carbon residue, oils, acids, water and other particulate. This makes it ideal for system flushing after burnouts, retrofits and for flushing line sets for R-410A conversions. It is non-toxic, non-flammable and is non-ozone depleting. From time to time, refrigeration and air conditioning systems suffer failures which result in contamination. The most common such failure is a compressor burnout. During such an event, the refrigeration system becomes contaminated with large quantities of unwanted particulate, sludge, acids, carbon residues and possibly moisture. All of these contaminants must be removed before the system can be returned to duty.

Nu-Calgon 4297-75 Pipe-Dri is an aerosol insulation which provides a moisture barrier to stop sweating and dripping on refrigeration lines, air conditioning lines, and other cold surfaces. Quickly adheres and dries to a hard water proof coating. Pipe-Dri's spray pattern permits spraying of odd shaped fittings and makes it possible to insulate hard to reach areas. Sweating and dripping are eliminated by this durable, waterproof protective barrier. It separates the warm moist air and the cold surface, preventing condensation from occurring. Pipe-Dri offers the ability to apply on odd shaped fittings and hard to reach areas. Reapplication will continue to build thickness as required. One can will normally cover approximately ten feet of 1" water pipe or eight square feet of flat surface area with two coats. Ideally, the product should be at room temperature (70- 75 deg F) and the surface to be coated at a lower temperature. A thick application is hard to form on warmer surfaces (above 80 deg F), however, a thicker coat may be achieved by applying 2 or more light coats. Once a coating has been allowed to dry and harden, it will be stable at temperatures up to 120 deg F.

Nu-Calgon 4301-02 RX-Acid scavenger provides a better, more convenient way to neutralized or scavenge acid in refrigeration, air conditioning systems after burnouts or during normal on-going systems maintenance. Normal dosage rate is 2 fl oz of Rx-acid scavenger for up to 1 Gallon of system oil. That is 50% less than other acid neutralizing products. This low treat feature means far less material has to be added to the systems. Rx-acid scavenger is formulated for use with all lubricants - mineral, alkylbenzene and polyolester. Use after system burnout to scavenge acid products in the system or change a system with Rx-acid scavenger to neutralize acid conditions should they develop.
