Rectorseal 23551 Thread Sealant 1/2 Pint

Multi-purpose thread sealant made with DuPont Kevlar for use on metals including steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum and on plastics including PVC, CPVC and ABS. Leak-free joints can be tested and put into service at once. MeGallonoc wipes clean from hands and tools with a dry rag, is odor-free, grit-free and will not separate or settle. MeGallonoc does not harden, crack or become brittle, joints can be disassembled without damage to pipe, fittings or threads years after the joint was made. MeGallonoc is applied easily with a natural bristle brush even at temperatures as low as -25 deg F and performs over a temperature range of -50 to 400 deg F. It provides leak-proof hydraulic resistance to 12000 psi and withstands gas pressure up to 2600 psi. MeGallonoc is non-toxic, non-hazardous and non-flammable. It contains no lead, heavy metals or volatile solvents.

Oatey 25605 Plumbers caulk is a high quality commercial grade product. Easy-to-use, single component, non-sag, siliconized acrylic-latex caulk. Excellent expansion-contraction and mildew-resistance properties. Plumbers caulk makes a flexible, durable and UV resistant waterproof seal on interior and exterior surfaces. Will not crumble, resists shrinking and can be painted. Cleans up easily with soap and water before it cures, flows easily from tube and cartridge, bonds to all common building materials, tools easily, is tack-free in 1 hr and has a 25 years life expectancy.

These thread sealants are a variation of our basic RectorSeal No. 5 formulation modified for specific applications where low odor, non-staining, and soft set features are desired. RectorSeal No. 5 Special is especially formulated for use around gas detection equipment. RectorSeal No. 5 Sub-Zero is especially formulated for low temperature applications and is brushable to -35 deg F. They are listed under the uniform plumbing code (IAPMO) file no. 1282. In addition, they are approved and listed with the Canadian standards association (CSA).

A versatile thread sealant for use on black iron, Galvanized steel, copper, brass and aluminum pipe and fittings. Can be used on lines carrying natural gas, air, steam, hydronic heating, ammonia, brine, diluted acids and sprinkler systems. Pro Dope will not drip, is lead free, non-toxic and won't spill. It is non-separating and provides a tight, positive, leak free seal. Pro Dope prevents rust and inhibits corrosion by forming a protective coating on threads. It is non-hardening and joints can be disassembled without damage to pipe fittings or threads. Pro Dope is easily applied with a natural bristle brush in temperatures as low as -15 deg F and performs over a temperature range of 0 - 350 deg F. Pressure rated to 250 psi for liquids and 200 psi for air/steam. Pro Dope is a grey colored thread sealant which contains no lead.
